Our office – 4811 Broadway
Great Expectations is excited to share about our new office – we just love it and we know you will too! The office is located in Addison (4811 Broadway to be exact), beside Addison Park and just off the Dallas North Tollway. We hope this location will be convenient for a lot of our Dallas clients (though we love you too Ft. Worth and have not forgotten you!). The building itself is gorgeous, but what really blows us away is the people that are inside. The Nest is more than just our office, it is a group of women run businesses that have come together to create an environment where families are loved on in many different ways.
Who is The Nest?
Dr. Courtney Gowin of Free to Be Chiropracitic anchors the main floor. Dr. Gowin specializes in wellness for the whole family with a focus on prenatal and pediatric chiropractic care. You can read more about Free to Be’s services, office hours and even book an appointment on their website. Also on that floor is tea and coffee for our visitors and comfortable chairs for visiting or nursing a baby.
On the lower floor we are thrilled to have the Nappy Shoppe Boutique. This store has it all for new parents and beyond. Not only are they known for selling cool baby items, they have all kinds of classes and host events for new parents (they have car seat technicians on staff, breastfeeding groups, dad groups and so much more!). The Nappy Shoppe is more than just a store – it is place to learn and to find support. No matter who you are visiting at The Nest, you will want to pop in and see what the Nappy Shoppe has going on.
Then, just upstairs is our office. Our neighbors on that floor are our massage therapist Liliana in her lovely purple room and Kassia Walcott of Singing Tree Midwifery who meets with expecting families in the cheery front room (we love her office!). Makeba Waller of UltraView Imaging, DFW Placenta, Buoyant Birth, and DFW Belly Binding also all have office space upstairs and then there is The Nest’s classroom space. Doesn’t it sound wonderful? With this new office space, Great Expectations we will be able to offer even more classes and events. You will want to stay tuned and check out all the fun stuff happening at The Nest.
