Adrianna is a birth and postpartum doula who started with Great Expectations in 2015. She took a break while she had her second child and is back now serving expecting and postpartum families. We love having her as part of the team and we’ve loved watching her family grow over the last few years. Things we love about Adrianna? She is an amazing cook (you will see in her words that she is a graduate of culinary school!) so she’s a favorite at our pot luck office get-togethers and she is funny in this quiet way that sneaks up you. She’s always open to helping and getting involved and that can do spirit is one of the many things that make her a great doula!
Hi, I am Adrianna! 
When I found out I was pregnant I became more and more interested in the whole process of how a woman is able to grow and birth a baby. My son’s birth experience made me realize having a solid support team was vital to the outcome I wanted. From there I had the honor to experience the birth of my nephew. I supported my sister in a way I wish someone would have supported me during my birth experience. It came easy and natural for me, not only because she was my sister, but because I knew what she was going through. I wanted to uplift her and make her feel powerful, strong, and capable.
After her birth my sister said, “Adrianna, you need to become a doula.” That’s when I realized supporting families as they bring their baby into this world is where my passion truly lies. I made the decision to become a BEST certified doula and have loved it ever since. I’m excited to get to know you and support you and your decisions whatever and however that may be. I’d love to be your doula!
